Job Responsibilities
The General Banking Officer will be responsible for performing various front-office and back-office banking operations, including:
Managing and handling front-office and back-office transactions.
Managing cash and handling remittance-related activities.
Opening and maintaining customer accounts.
Monitoring inoperative and dormant accounts.
Serving notices to unclaimed account holders when required.
Processing online transactions and remittances.
Processing inward and outward clearing according to internal SOPs and Prudential Regulations.
Processing ATM claim settlements and maintaining lockers.
Managing assigned cash-handling activities.
Processing and managing term deposits, including issuance, payments, and balancing of TDRs.
Ensuring front-office and operational activities are performed appropriately.
Supporting the Operations Manager in promoting and selling banking products and services.
Scrutinizing daily transaction vouchers and maintaining proper records for audit purposes.
Issuing receipts against transfer payments.
Performing daily financial transactions, including verification, calculation, and posting of account-related entries.
Reconciling payments with general ledger accounts.
Preparing monthly reports.
Performing any other duties assigned by supervisors.
