Procurement & Contract Specialist

• Total Vacancies: 01

• Qualifications Required:

  • Master's Degree (at least 16 years of education) in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, or a relevant discipline from a foreign or local university, duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

  • Preferred Certifications: Candidates holding procurement-related certifications will be preferred. Examples include:

    • Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) from CIPS, UK

    • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from ISM, USA

    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS/ASCM, or equivalent.

• Experience Required:

  • Minimum eight (08) years of documentary verifiable experience in the procurement of goods, works, and consulting services with subnational, national, international agencies, or private sectors.

  • Preferred Skills: Strong, community-driven development, consulting services, non-consulting services, and IT Procurement experience shall be preferred.

1. Selection Guidelines: The selection will be made in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants of World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, dated September 2023.

2. Conflict of Interest: Attention of interested consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" regarding conflict of interest policies.
