Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Marketing Expert (PPS-09)

• No. of Posts: 02

• Max Age Limit: 45 Years

• Qualification: MBA/MS in Marketing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), or related discipline (Minimum 16 years of HEC-recognized education).

• Experience Required: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in Marketing, Business Development, Market Research, or Customer Analytics (preferably in transport, logistics, public sector, or service industry).

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze customer data to identify KPIs and report marketing metrics.

  • Set up and optimize analytics tools to track customer behavior.

  • Conduct online marketing initiatives and design/evaluate marketing strategies for Pakistan Railways.

  • Develop pricing strategies balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.

2. Senior Officer IT (PPS-08)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Max Age Limit: 45 Years

• Qualification: BS (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent (Minimum 16 years of HEC-recognized education).

  • Added Advantage: Professional IT Certifications (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+/Network+).

• Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in IT support, network/hardware administration, or office systems management.

  • Preference: Experience in public sector, railways, infrastructure, engineering consultancy, or World Bank/MDB-funded projects is highly desirable.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Network/hardware administration in Windows Server, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Microsoft 363 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).

  • Manage file servers, centralized storage systems, and backup/recovery.

  • Handle IT procurement procedures, evaluations, equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance.

3. Computer Operator (PPS-04)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 18–30 Years (5 years general age relaxation included)

• Qualification: Bachelor's/Graduation Degree (preferably in Computer Science) from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in computer operations, data management, or related functions.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Inpage Urdu for document, spreadsheet, and report preparation.

  • Data entry, database maintenance, electronic record management, and document digitization.

  • Operate office equipment (scanners, printers, photocopiers) and manage digital filing systems.

  • Handle internet applications, email correspondence, online portals, and basic IT troubleshooting.

4. Junior Clerk (PPS-03)

• No. of Posts: 02

• Age Limit: 18–30 Years (5 years general age relaxation included)

• Qualification:

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board of Secondary Education.

  • Minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m.

  • 3-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB.

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of relevant clerical or administrative experience in public or private sector organizations preferred.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, basic IT-related works, data entry, and record-keeping.

  • Strong organizational and typing skills with high accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Urdu.

Terms & Conditions

1. Contract Period: Appointments are strictly on a 1-year contract basis, extendable annually based on performance or until project completion.

2. Salary Package: Standard Pay Package under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) as per Finance Division rules.

3. Experience: Only post-qualification experience will be evaluated.

4. Degree Equivalence: Foreign degree holders must submit an HEC/PEC equivalency certificate.

5. Government Servants: Applicants currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with a departmental NOC.

6. No Hard Copies / TA/DA: No hard copies are accepted, and no TA/DA will be paid for tests/interviews.
